I'm not sure if it's the content or the style of narration, but I find my mind wandering when I'm listening. It's hard to stay focused on the content, so I haven't retained any of the information that I've listened to. Maybe audio books just aren't my thing.
Pass... many better options out there. This book is poorly written and grossly oversimplifies/barely explains important fundamentals.
Lots of info here. They avoid going into details on coding and statements . It is an overview of SQL and how it functions.
Sure wish these copy and paste guys would go away. Here is another example of completely worthless material that, through hyping, someone is trying to sucker you into buying. Don't.There are many good books on SQL these booklets are not among them.
Obviously the title is a play on words. The book is basically broken down into 10 minute lessons. If you work your way through this short book, in no time you will be effortlessly writing queries. I like it because it short and to the point. I keep it as a good reference when I get stuck on something.
It's an outstanding book, with a fair price, easy to read and follow, very straightforward and well-organized. Definitely great to a newbie with zero experience stepping out into gaining a personal understanding of SQL. Highly recommend.This book is really focused. There is no fluff and it does a very good job of making the subject of SQL interesting to learn. The book is full of fantastic examples to help reinforce each lesson and build upon your skills as you work through each chapter in the book. I am really looking forward to Volume 2 next.QL server for free for evaluation purposes. The Joes2Pros video on installation was extremely useful.
