If you want to hear about God fixing your life and then read story after story after story about straight spouses, this is the book for you. It wasn’t for me.
It was a LOT of great real life stories. I have my own story so I get it. It would have been nice to have had a wrap up at the end of every few stories or a discussion on next steps or processes. I could have (and have) gotten lots of stories from online support groups. When I read a book, I'm looking for the author's opinions and research to tie it all together.

I recently had a spouse come out as gay and want divorce. This is a painful and confusing thing for anyone to deal with. I wish I had read this book months ago. These stories range from heartbreaking to heart warming. It gave me some insight into the struggle my former spouse went through which gave me a roadmap to healing and forgiveness. Thank you Amity! I would recommend this book to anyone in this situation.
I felt this this book focused only on the L & G of the LGBT community I was also uncomfortable with the level of underlying religious connection as I am agnostic. I appreciate what these spouses have been through but none of them made me feel connected or supported.
