The suppression of these revolts and other restrictions on freedom, in turn, led to significant emigration of Poles and Liths to the US in the late 19th century (and, decades later, some of their descendants became governors, business leaders, and other notable people in the US). What about a super-concise chronology of the French Revolution, key battles, legal reforms, and how the Napoleonic Wars between France and other European powers were also a global conflict?
